Conversion to Pine Chips

 I converted the floor of the Coop to pine chips. I kinda over did it here... I should have started out with about 1"-2", and slowed add as needed. Another big mistake was leaving straw in the nest boxes...the birds immediately started mixing straw in and made a mess. Live and learn. Funniest part? The chickens immediately realized the change and were unsure of walking in it...

Betsy - Loves Her Mom!

 Betsy loves to come to Debbie, just before dark. As the others are making their way to the coop, Betsy loves for Debbie to snuggle her under her shawl. Despite what some think, Chickens absolutely have the ability to love and show love.
